The villa’s history
Villa Dosi Delfini is a fine example of Italy’s 18th-century Baroque architecture. Construction of the villa began at the end of the 17th century, only 800 metres outside of the town of Pontremoli. The villa was commissioned by the Dosi Delfini family, who still owns it up to the present day.
The villa can be reached by following the beautiful Via Chiosi street which is aligned with colorful prunus and crape myrtle trees on both sides of the road. Before reaching the villa you will also find a stone bridge built back in 1705 by the same Dosi Delfini family, surmounted by an elegant chapel.
The villa’s interior is wealthy and abundant in frescoes according to Italian Baroque style. Some of the interior highlights are the Great Hall, the Red Room, and the Library.
Your visit to the villa
