Hiking to the Holy Face of Lucca

The Via del Volto Santo (“Road of the Holy Face”) is a pilgrimage route of 152 km from Pontremoli to Lucca, crossing the Lunigiana, Garfagnana and Media Valle del Serchio territories.

The destination of this pilgrimage route is the wooden statue of the Volto Santo (Holy Face), venerated since the Middle Ages throughout the world and kept in Lucca in the Cathedral of San Martino.
